Wear clothes you do not mind getting muddy: closed shoes or trainers, shorts or light trousers, and a t-shirt. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen and a change of clothes, and expect to get splashed on jungle and waterfall routes.
Most operators provide a helmet and gloves. Leave valuables at your hotel or use the operator's lockers where available.
